CSE has been passionate about and focused on cricket coaching for the past 25 years and constantly endeavours to improve and develop the standard of cricket in all interested young champs Cape Town.

We at the CSE are of the opinion that the very best time to encourage a child’s interest and to start focusing on ball skills and basic cricketing techniques is from as young an age as possible, and to instil in them the fun in Cricket.

Small group coaching we focus on the fundamentals, ABCs’ (agility, balance, co-ordination), basics of the game, and most importantly FUN.

Group sessions

We conduct private group coaching sessions during cricket season at various venues for that extra bit of attention and practice needed before the game on Saturday or introductory classes to learn the fundamentals of the game.

To give CSE students enough individual attention, we have a ratio of max 8 players per coach.

Ages 4 - 13 (boys and girls)

Batting, Bowling and Fielding
Rules, captaincy and etiquette
Running between wickets
Agility, Balance, Coordination, Speed
Match related games to be played each week
All-round technique improvement

Groups: Separated into age groups and ability

To Bring: White shorts and white shoes

Equipment: Bring own cricket equipment (necessary but not essential)

Private Coaching (One on One)

Private cricket coaching will allow your child to enjoy personal 1 on 1 attention with one of our CSA qualified coaches. Our coaches will cover specific points of the game with an aim to focus on the more detailed aspects.

Batting, bowling, fielding as well as mental aspects of the game are covered in depth.

Features

Batting: Front/back foot, error correction, planning , strategy, positive thinking and focus exercises.
Bowling: Action, variation, planning , strategy, positive thinking and focus exercises.
Fielding and Wicket-Keeping: Catching, ground fielding techniques, anticipation, feet movement & role definition
Report: Feedback analysis every term.

Days: Monday – Sunday

Times: 07:00 - 19:00

Options: We do also offer two or three in a group (R440 and R510). Groups do need to be arranged by parents.

Coaches: Flexible with time, so it’s best to touch base and together we’ll find a suitable time.
